Student hostel

​To ensure wellbeing of its students P. Stradins Medical College of the University of Latvia offers students from farther regions of Latvia a possibility to live in a Student hostel with all amenities.

Services of Student hostel are used not only by students of College, but also foreign students of ERASMUS+ programme. Together they organize various formal and informal festivities, form friendships, relationships. For some of the students the dormitory is the first step toward beginning an independent life, making their own decisions, it is also a challenge to share living space with someone.
Premises are equipped with everything needed for everyday life. Students are offered rooms for two or four persons. Common use kitchens, that promotes communication among students – both in terms of stories and study programmes. Students have a room, fitted for social activities, access to wireless internet, and also college technical personnel, who are supports them in tackling various matters.

To increase number of living premises, the new, renovated dormitory building was opened in 2014.
