P. Stradins Medical College of the University of Latvia, in accordance with Cabinet Regulation No. 445 of 14 July 2020 “Procedures for Publishing Information on the Internet by Institutions” (hereinafter - Regulation No. 445), is committed to ensuring the accessibility of its website.

The website has undergone a simplified accessibility assessment. The method used - Guidelines for assessing the compliance with accessibility requirements for institutional websites and justifying disproportionate burden drafted by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development.

Compliance status

The P. Stradins Medical College of the University of Latvia website is partially compliant with Regulation No. 445 due to the following reasons:

Colour contrast – the contrast between text and background is not optimal.
Keyboard access and visual focus – not all elements can be accessed using keyboard-only navigation.
Text alternative for images – not all images have appropriate ALT attributes that clearly describe the visual content.
