ACTIVITIES
PULSE Project Kick-Off Meeting Brings Partners Together in Tartu, Estonia (2026)

On 28 May 2026, the kick-off meeting of the Interreg Central Baltic 2021-2027 project PULSE – Strengthening Community Health and Learning Through a Cross-Border Digital Platform took place at Tartu Applied Health Sciences University in Tartu, Estonia. P. Stradins Medical College of the University of Latvia was represented by International Coordinator Aiga Grauduma, PR Specialist Agnese Grase, Communication Specialist Maija Delle and IT Management Specialist Agris Bērziņš.
The meeting brought together project partners for their first in-person meeting since the project officially started on 1 May 2026. Participants were introduced to the key aspects of project management, documentation, communication, visibility requirements, and planned activities. During the session on community healthcare services, both project partners presented their current experiences and approaches in delivering health promotion and prevention services to the community.
The PULSE project aims to develop and pilot an innovative digital booking platform in Latvia and Estonia, making community healthcare services more accessible and visible to the public while strengthening cooperation between students, lecturers, healthcare professionals, and local communities.
The meeting provided an opportunity for networking, exchanging good practices, and planning the next steps of the project. Over the next 18 months, project partners will work together to develop and pilot the web application and enhance the capacity of institutional and community health services in both countries.
